Here's the honest version, because you deserve it. Morning, Bird! started because I couldn't find a high-caffeine coffee I actually wanted to drink. The strong ones tasted like battery acid and charcoal, and I was drowning them in sugar and creamer just to choke the cup down.
So I went looking. I found a small-batch California roaster making a Robusta-boosted breakfast blend, tried it, and it was the first strong coffee I drank with barely a splash of creamer — not bitter, not acrid. I put my name on it and started shipping it fresh. That's the whole story. No years in a roastery, no lab coats. Just a blend I'd actually drink, curated honestly and sold straight.
Most high-caffeine coffee makes you choose: brute strength or a cup you'd enjoy. This one doesn't — which is exactly why I stuck my name on it.

An Arabica base for the flavor, Robusta for the caffeine. That's it. I'd rather tell you exactly what's in the cup than dress it up in words that don't mean anything.
